This project was for an integrated inpatient and outpatient facility for patients with an acquired brain injury.
It provided 25 inpatient beds with outpatient / day care capacity
Static Systems Equipment Provided:
Series T220/HW Bedhead Services Trunking typically with the following equipment at each bed position.
- 3 x Medical Gas terminals
- 4 x Twin 13 Amp switched sockets
- 1 x Codemlon Nurse call panel for Patient / Nurse & Nurse / Nurse Emergency calls
- 1 x Patients handset provided Patient / Nurse call ( Two way speech available between Patient & Nurse Station ) & Bedlight control.
- 1 x 2 way speech loudspeaker/ microphone unit
- 1 x Twin Data socket
The various nurse bases are provided with touch screen LCD indicators which give clear & precise details of the locations of an incoming Patient / Nurse call OR Nurse / Nurse Emergency call. Transfer of calls to an adjacent nurse base panel is also available.
Part of this facility also houses a self contained six bed sub unit with similar facilities to above but with additional ceiling mounted Elpas Infra Red Attack Alarm receivers. These units are activated by staff members requiring urgent assistance. Activation is by Attack Alarm tags worn by the staff. The system again provides a clear & distinct indication at the Touch screen LCD unit at the nurse base in a similar fashion to patient or emergency calls but with a different tone & indication alert.
